Pre-order Excitement

So...A thing happened. I went a bit crazy on amazon and preordered some books that are due to be released in 2015 and I thought I'd blog about my excitement.

 INVADED - Melissa Landers

This is the sequel to Melissa Landers' Alienated which I read back in August and have been excited for the release of the second book since.

Alienated centers around Cara and her out of this world exchange student from another planet, Aehlyx and the troubles that they face. It was gripping and exciting and I can't wait for the sequel.

RELEASE DATE - 3rd February, 2015
 FINDING PARIS - Joy Preble

"A page-turning novel about a girl who must follow a trail of mysterious clues to discover what happened to her sister"

I must say the description of this book some what reminds me of John Green's Paper Towns in the sense of a girl running away and leaving clues to find her, but I think this almost sounds better. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to this book being in my possession so I can give it a read.

RELEASE DATE - 21st April, 2015

NO PLACE TO FALL - Jaye Robin Brown

"THE SKY IS EVERYWHERE  MEETS THIS LULLABY IN A SEXY AND POIGNANT DEBUT NOVEL ABOUT FAMILY, FRIENDSHIPS, AND FIRST ROMANCE."

This book intrigues me more than anything. The description I've read doesn't give very much away other than it seems like it's going to be quite a cute contemporary which I must say are my kind of books.

RELEASE DATE - 15th January, 2015
NONE OF THE ABOVE - I.W. Gregorio

"Incredibly compelling and sensitively told, None of the Above is a thought-provoking novel that explored what it means to be a boy, girl or something in between"

This is a book that I want to read purely because I've never read anything like this, A girl discovering she is intersex to terms with that. It seems an interesting read, as I didn't even know that intersex was a thing before I started researching about this book.

RELEASE DATE - 28th April, 2015

 MAGONIA - Maria Dahvana Headley

"Since she was a baby, Aza has suffered from a mysterious lung disease that makes it ever harder for her to breathe, to speak—to live. So when Aza catches a glimpse of a ship in the sky, her family chalks it up to a cruel side effect of her medication. But Aza doesn’t think this is a hallucination. She can hear someone on the ship calling her name."

All I need to say about this book is that I've seen it being described as The Fault In Our Stars meets Peter Pan. That is enough to sell me on it.

RELEASE DATE - 28th April, 2015

PROOF OF FOREVER - Lexa Hillyer

"That is, until the fateful flash of a photo booth camera transports the four of them back in time, to the summer they were fifteen—the summer everything changed. The girls must recreate the past in order to return to the present"

The plot of this seems super fun. The get taken back in time and have to recreate the past. It reminds me of the film Hot Tub Time Machine and I think it's going to be a really fun summer read which I'm definitely excited to read.

RELEASE DATE - 2nd June, 2015

So there's the 6 books I'm most excited to receive in 2015. Most of these were pretty much bought because of how gorgeous the covers are, but I'm so glad I did pre-order them because the all sound like such good reads that I can't wait  to have.
